How do I join?
Membership is by invitation. A tree's administrator sends you an invite by email; follow the link, then confirm your email address to finish signing up.
Who can see a family tree?
Only the people invited to that tree. Trees are never public, and search engines can't see them.
Can I edit the tree?
Yes. Every member can add people, correct details and upload photos. Changes are recorded, so everyone can see who changed what.
Can I take our data elsewhere?
Yes. Any member can download the whole tree as a GEDCOM file, which other genealogy software can import.
I didn't get my invite email.
Check your spam folder, then ask the tree's administrator to resend it. A new link replaces the old one.
