Private family trees
Your family's story, kept in the family.
Stemmata is a home for family trees that only your family can see. Bring in an existing tree, invite relatives to explore it, and fill in the gaps together.
Membership is by invitation only.
Private by design
Each tree is visible only to the people invited to it. Nothing is public, and nothing is indexed.
Bring your research
Import a GEDCOM file from Ancestry or other genealogy software, and export it again whenever you like.
Explore together
Browse the tree a generation at a time, search everyone in it, and add photos, dates and stories.
